Ronnie Boyd concentrates, in study hall, as he used a new desk. The addition of new equipment in the rear of the audi- torium accommodates study hall students. Newly equipped band trailer, new lapboards For the first time, the Crewe High School Band became a part of the school program. With the coming of the school year 1965-66, a rehearsal building was added, and band was offered to students daily during their school day. New music stands, and a storage place for musical instruments, uniforms, and mate- rials have encouraged and strengthened the band program in school. Mirrors, one of which is of full length, were placed in the girls' physical education room this year. Lack of room, due to an increased number of students, made it essential that all study halls be held in the auditorium. Last summer lapboards were placed on back of seats which were used as temporary desks. A new lighting system was also installed. The girls of the Ivy League set sparkled with the idea of new earrings for their pierced ears and with stockings and sweaters to match. The hair of both boys and girls became longer and straighter with the fad. Aluminum band trailer gleams with newness beside the Home Economics Cottage. Interior of band trailer is spacious and well equipped. Mrs. Roberts and band students enjoy their new facilities.
