Another highlight of the year was the organization of a girls ' drill team by the girls ' physical education teacher, Miss Katie Presnell. Newcomers to the high school faculty were Mrs. Gloria Smith, English; Mrs. Wanda Padgett, history and geography; Miss Katie Presnell, girls ' physical education; and Mrs. Helen Wilson, librarian.
