SENIOR PRESIDENT JEFFFREY J. POSTLEWAITE Here comes JeFf is a common phrase among any quorum of seniors, immediately followed by a friendly smile and a warm handshake. Jeff moves on, always on the go, but although lack of time hurries him on, he has a cheerful greeting for everyone that comes in view. Department officer for the previous three years, Jeff was elected president as our junior year ended, taking the helm immediately by preparing for the first main affair sponsored by the senior class, notably our impressive Homecoming Weekend. Due to JeFf's organization and ability, he activated the men connected with him to get the job successfully completed on time. Thus we were on our way, our course marked, giving forth our best efforts to attain a memorable year. ' ?E:Z5fi..rsi:F' : Y-5 f5,,,s.g 'zszaw ii? SECOND VICE-PRESIDENT ROBERT G. MCMAHON Whether it be in the school's social or extra curricular activities, the student body recognizes Bob's natural leadership qualities as they are evidenced through his convictions, thoughts, and actions. He has won many friends through his ability to mix with the persons composing any Cretin gathering. Through his considerate manner, Bob influences the right conduct and attitude of his friends and also retains strong interest in the conversations he holds. As a competitive sportsman he displays the winning Cretin spirit by never failing to strive for teamwork. Bob is an example of what a typical Cretin man hopes to be: TREASURER JAMES J. DE FEO Jim De Feo could easily be termed as one of the most liked persons at Cretin. This good-natured Italian possesses a wit and sense of humor unequaled by anyone. His popularity is based on his unfailing ability to find the funny side of the dullest event, and spread laughter among all of his friends. Although hampered by injuries for three years, his drive, determination, and will to overcome odds, earned him top rating as a football player. His solid 185 pounds was noted for ripping through offensive lines to massacre enemy ball-carriers, many of whom found it hard to get up afterwards. Yes, indeed, Jim's spirited personality has distinguished him as the man with many friends and no enemies.
