Advisors ,. g ' Brother Victor One of Brother Victor's crowning achieve- ments in his work at Cretin is his success as moderator of the hockey team. lt is mainly through his efforts that we have our splendid rink, and practically all new uniforms for the team. Brother Victor has also manifested a deep interest in his own advisory, vigorously sup- porting any class drives, collections, or ac- tivities in which they participate. ln spite of his busy schedule, Brother also has always found time for any problems his students might bring to him. Brother George Brother George, a veteran in the field of teaching, but a newcomer at Cretin, had the distinction of starting out as a senior ad- visor in his first year. Combining his teaching experience with lively class discussions, Brother has reached a very desirable teach- er-pupil relationship in and out of his classes. lf variety is the spice of life, the busy moderator of 202 is really having a ball. Besides teaching senior religion, iunior Eng- lish and freshman algebra, he supervises the publication of the excellent school paper. Mr. Tierney Mr. Tierney, a Cretin graduate '46, is the popular advisor of 106. He works hard to instill in his students and basketball players a sense of duty and pride which he feels Cretin students should have. He has worked untiringly with his basket- ball teams, but, leaving nothing to chance, he and his wife are grooming two stars and a cheerleader iso farl who should see lots of action - around 1968, We are all happy and proud that Mr. Tierney has associated himself as teacher, coach and friend, with the Cretin cadets.
