The Board of Education During the T957-58 school year, Warren Crain, Jack Daly, Harold Martin, Carl Mclntosh, Dr. Walter Miller, Norman Nelson, and Cecil Swift served on our Board of Education. The vacancy left by the recent resignation of Cecil Swift was filled by Edward Epstein. Dr. Miller was elected president by the other members of the Board, Mr. Crain, vice-president, and Mr. Mclntosh, secretary. The Board of Education is the governing body of the entire school district 201-U. This group of men is concerned with the employment of all teachers, administrators, and the non-teaching staff, salary programs, disciplinary problems, the betterment of our educational curriculum, construction of new schools, and additions and im- provements to the previously established schools. We of Crete-Monee High School and the communities at large do appreciate the efforts of this governing body. 2 YEVVI f iii fo f l ly EJXXQA f utr'
