The Board of Education During the T957-58 school year, Warren Crain, Jack Daly, Harold Martin, Carl Mclntosh, Dr. Walter Miller, Norman Nelson, and Cecil Swift served on our Board of Education. The vacancy left by the recent resignation of Cecil Swift was filled by Edward Epstein. Dr. Miller was elected president by the other members of the Board, Mr. Crain, vice-president, and Mr. Mclntosh, secretary. The Board of Education is the governing body of the entire school district 201-U. This group of men is concerned with the employment of all teachers, administrators, and the non-teaching staff, salary programs, disciplinary problems, the betterment of our educational curriculum, construction of new schools, and additions and im- provements to the previously established schools. We of Crete-Monee High School and the communities at large do appreciate the efforts of this governing body. 2 YEVVI f iii fo f l ly EJXXQA f utr' MR ,xt wx' ryvwjjjavvf' W5 1 MRS WRIGHT Englrsh Umversity of Secre Am 0 e a ucke er on the o entra MR SKROBACKI Lat1n St Mary s of San Antomo B A St Louls Umverslty M Ed Secret Ambmon To own a brrght red roadster IRECTUQ 1 MISS CROISSANT Englrsh UIIIVSISIIY of Dubuque B A Secret Ambxtlon To learn how to Jrtterbug RE MR GRANGER Mathematlcs Bradley Unrversxty B S Secret Ambrtlon To be an elevator operator rn the Emprre Stat ulldmg G1 xfmdx L t W' KW jaw LVMJ IRECTUQ MR HELME Industrial Arts James M11l1k1n Umverslty B S Universrty of Il11no M Ed Secret Ambmon To be come Carmen Basrlio s manager IS tpdjl dw 441 MR BONNEY Boys Physxcal Educatlon Athletics Counselor Coe Colle e B A Secret Am rtion T manage the A11 Stars DIRECTORS 9 I MR HIMMELBERG Socral Studxes MISSOUTI State Teachers College B S Unrverslty of Wrsconsln M S Secret Ambltron To be a carry out boy at Rudy s 1 ll A , 1, fs Q 1. 1-3 1 .vv . is' B'A. .'. . , 8 . . ... . .' Our representatives on Student Council our Junior year were Shirley Allen, Judy Daly Dale Drolet, Yvonne Flamini, and Tom Watson. Doris McCullough reigned over Homecoming festivities as Queen. ln November we sponsored a Sadie Hawkins turnabout dance. The highlight of the year was our Junior-Senior Prom, The Satellite Ball. Judy Daly Dale Drolet, Yvonne Flamini, Becky Reavley, and Carol Middleton represented us in Student Council. 'The Curious Savage was the name of our play. Sue Jacquin and Craig Bradley were the New Year s Eve Queen and King. Lois Carnagey was chosen as Prom Queen. Our Senior Banquet was held at Lincoln Heights. We were directed during our Senior year by Mr. Himmelberg, Miss Croissant, and Mrs. Brischke. Our class offi- cers were Tom Watson, President, Roger Gordy Vice-President, and Roma Jensen, Secretary- Treasurer. These were four wonderful years which we will never forget.
