Sponsors Miss Hokuf ' Mr. Stuchlik Ki One morningin November was set aside for fresh- b ' man initiation, The freshmen were required to wear all clothes backwards. The girls had to wear pig- P K tails or braids while the boys had to wear hair' ' gr ribbons. Thw hole class had to sing Darling, I w Q 4 Am Growing Old before the assembly. After the D QI ' song, all the freshmen's shoes were taken off and A thrown in a pile for the Freshiss to scrafble for. Y G' Severd. other members had to perform in solos, 2 duets and tries. In athletics the freshman class was well repree 4 sented by lettermen Don Wheeler, Curt Wheeler, l Maurice Blackburn, Bill Coffey, Jack Craven, Earl ,Q Barth and Fred Hereth, Jr. 4 Two members of the class went to the Interschol- -N astic Contest at Kearney, Alma Louzek went for gf general science and gym.
