A. Gregory was declared elected Superintendent. May 20, 1905 voted six ayes that we proceed to organize n manual training department and se- cure n teacher.-Records. It was for the purpose of recognizing the value of the home culture, of placing honor on toil, and of giving all the girls in the high school a chance of receiving recognition for the culture that comes from lnnnual effort that the Crete Plan of domestic science was planned in 1906. Nov. 16, 1908-A communication from the State Superintendent-C.H.S.had been recognized as one of the Normal Training Schools.-Records. Nov. 10, 1909-Mr. Gregory resigned to become State Normal Training Instructor. Mr. Greg- ory continued to make his home in Crete and in 1911 received his Boy Scout commission. if EAST WARD ADDITION March 26, 1908-The con- tract for building the East Ward addition was given to Mr. ,lolm Kerst for 33,645.00 'A' NORTH WARD March 21. 1908--Mr. G.
