In Appreciation In appreciation we the staff of the 1963 REDWOOD wish to take this opportunity to express our thanks to Mr. George Converse for his continued advice and encouragement. Mr. Converse is known for his long hours of hard work, personal sacrifice, and devotion to Crestwood students. This devotion is best described by his own words, They're the best. We may not be the best. but he has worked hard to promote and develop the real worth of each individual with whom he has come in contact. It has been through his tireless effort that Crestwood has become known in the field of science. Mr. Converse retires this year after spending 35 years as an educator in Portage County, 21 of these years have been spent in the Crestwood School District. Therefore, it is with great esteem and gratitude that we, the yearbook staff, express our thanks to the man whom we think is the best, Mr. George Converse. 7l
