Remember .. . . . when we were first freshmen at Crestwood? . . when we didn’t have any weekend warriors? . . the feeling we got when the class of “71” graduated and we were finally the Almighty Seniors? . . a football team without coaches? . . when we won the snow sculpture contest at the Winter Festival? .. May 18th and beautiful Lovett Hall? ....a Class without sponsors? . . when we won a football game. . all the weekend dances (ha-ha)? . . when Mrs. Childs helped us with the Senior Trip? . when eighteen year olds got the right to vote? . . when all we could drink on the Senior trip was Coke? . . when parents were sponsors of clubs? . . when it rained for two days in the Bahamas? . when Craig Common was asked to resign? . . when the teachers did have a contract? . . when Central Park wasn’t all beer cans? . when our pilots went on strike in the Bahamas? . . when our class song was almost “We Gotto Get Out of This Place’? . when we did things as a class? . . the people who stuck their necks out for our class? . . when Dan Hopkins ran for the School Board? ...When June 13th came and we realized that the fun was over and “The Long and Winding Road” was ahead of us. .. when June 13th finally came and we were Alumni?
