Remember ... . when we were first freshmen at Crestwood? . when beavers were just animals? . when Mrs. Claeys was our Limbo Queen? . when only BOYS were Weekend Warriors? . the feeling we got when the class of '70 graduated and we were finally the Almighty Seniors? . when our football team had a first perfect record? . when we realized that we couldn’t build floats? . when we won the baby spirit jug? . when ’71 hosted a ‘‘whale”’ of a Winter Festival, and lost? . when our float was built out of “hot’’ wood? . when our class used to do things as a class? . when Tom Monolidus wasn’t in trouble with the cops? . the “Crestwood Tavern Singers’’? . when May 20th was a beautiful Summer Place at Lovett Hall? . when the “Bleacher Broads”’ has spirit no one else did? . when Central Park wasn’t all beer cans? . our car washes when only eight people would show up at a time? . when a “fish” was a little animal in the sea? . when we Carried bats and chains to the Melvindale game and we didn’t even get to use them? . when we finally got our rings? . when Mrs. Childs wasn’t working 24 hours a day to make our Senior year the greatest ever? . when the Seniors sacked out for 6 hours at Metro—a bad start for a great trip? . when being upset didn’t mean drinking? . when June 17th made us realize that the fun was all over and ‘‘We’ve Only Just Begun’’?
