It's in the school library. The word is derived from the word part am hi which means on both sides which is the two hand es on both sides. The other part is pherein which means to bear . Students need a 3.5 to receive the Amphora. The ninth grade students are eligible for the E. William Landes award. The student is chosen by the teachers based on scholastic achivement, involvement in school activities, anr' lchool spirit. Jill Groark and Jerry Brenning received the E. William Landes Award this year for outstandin achievement in Scholarship, Citizenship, and the Promu gation of Trojan Spirit. Congratulations to both Jill and Jerry. Sarah Benbrook gave an excellent Student Address as did Mr. Lochmann when he spoke in behalf of the facul- ty. 57
