One of the highest honors was marching in the 1957 Mardi Gras at New Orleans for which the band received recognition as being the fastest marching unit throughout the complete parade, This year the band has styled their marching similiar to the fast grow- ing concept of precision high-stepping. Routines activities include football half-time shows, parades, concerts, and participation in Sixth District band festival.
