Typical Y-Teen Meeting P51nt?v-1'-r' get Some of our activities this year included a Halloween costume party with square dancing, and a slumber party at the YWCA in March. For service projects, we distributed Thanksgiving baskets to several families in the community, visited the Castle Convalescent Home, and donated some money to World Fellowship. To raise money, basketball programs were sold and a St. Patrick's Dance was sponsored. Some of the programs of our monthly meetings included a report of Y-Teen Conference, Freshman initiation, a report on his United Nations trip by Jerry Fensler, a demonstration on gift wrapping,hints on good grooming, and a visit by the Van Wert Speech Team. In October we went trick or treating and took the goodies we collected to the Castle Convalescent Home, We also sponsored a Can-Can Dance in December to collect canned goods for needy families. Besides our service projects we had a Halloween costume party with square dancing, and a slumber party at the Y. W. C.A. in March. We also had some educational meetings including a panel dis- cussion, a speaker on World Fellowship, a speech team from Van Wert High School, and a program on hair styling.
