Karen Riley The Student Council consists of the top 3 of- ficers from each class in high school. Among our duties, is the responsibility of choosing the assembly programs for the 1962-63 Jerry Fensler - Principal School year' A Student Council Day was held May 16. Student teachers were in charge of the various classes including the positions of high school prin- cipal and secretary. It proved to be very successful and was enjoyed by students and teachers. A handbook of rules-and-regulations to guide the students of our high school is to be prepared for use next year. A 5 f . In October we went trick or treating and took the goodies we collected to the Castle Convalescent Home, We also sponsored a Can-Can Dance in December to collect canned goods for needy families. Besides our service projects we had a Halloween costume party with square dancing, and a slumber party at the Y. W. C.A. in March. We also had some educational meetings including a panel dis- cussion, a speaker on World Fellowship, a speech team from Van Wert High School, and a program on hair styling. Our year concluded with our annual Mother-Daughter Tea in May. Y-Teen Slumber Party - Y.
