Although the theme has not been made overly obvious, we feel that the order of the book, which is arranged in ascending order of age. even suggests growing up. For this reason, the junior high section has been placed in the front and the fac- ulty, who represent maturity, are in the back of the book. The members of the Saga staff hope that in years to come you will look back to your 1958 yearbook and recall many memories of the time during which you were grow- ing up. Dedication To you, Mr. liarl Knutson we dedicate the Saga of 1958. As commissioner you started us out on the right foot when you were our advisor in the ninth grade. ln the tenth grade you were again our advisor, and during our junior year at least some of us were under your supervision. The class of 1958 will al- ways remember you for your understanding and sympathetic leadership. Although busy with their regular activities, such as the annual Penny Carnival, after game dances and pep assemblies. the Student Council is trying more activities and projects for the active student body. Certain members of the Student Council were invited to attend other high school council meetings to get further ideas on how other council meetings were carried on. The Student Council is an organ- ization consisting of members elected by each class to represent them as a student body. These members voice the opinions. ideals and interests of their classmates. After every meeting the minutes are usually read to the class by one of its representatives. The students therefore know just what their Student Council is doing.
