Because the atom plays such important role in our lives today, and because it is symbolic of the spontaneous, yet patterned, activity of school life, we have chosen it for the theme of our Saga this year. Since the nucleus of the atom is the center of all energy and activity, it can be compared to the energetic student body. The academic and extra-curricular activities can very well be likened to the whirling elec- trons which surround the nucleus. Thus we have the Creston Atom.
