Hull. i -1 : I 'Y -Q 5 Junior Amateur Show ONCE AGAIN the junior class sponsored the school amateur show. There was varied talent and stiff competition. Pat Jackson and Barbara Tanen- baum very capably presided as master and mis- tress of ceremony. The boys quartette composed of Jack Waltz. Bill Stroh, Andy Goodwin. and Paul Byl stole the show by winning the grand prize. Other winners were the three piece band. Sayla Emmert, and Ruth Ann Dalsey. Budd Udell. Roger Mawhy. Keith Longberg, .lack Lane, Roger Uecker in a scene from Hugo ln A Hurry. One Act Plays THE TWO COMEDIES and the short musical skit put on by the dramatics classes proved to be a hit with all who attended. That women cannot get along without the aid of men was ably shown in l'Are Men Superior. Ruth DeNise played Mrs. Livingston while Susan the spinster of the play was taken by Abby May- hew. Edwina and Marcia were played. Glenna Mae Cummings and Pat Bresnahan. Jackie Pier- son took the part of Mrs. Bell while' the maids were partrayed by Billie Hall, Janet Sweet. and Bonnie Freas. The second play was Hugo in a Hurryf' Hugo was beautifully played by Keith Longberg, while Jack Lane took the part of Mr. Sparks, the sci- entific mover. Roger Uecker and Margorie De Maagd played Mr. and Mrs. Butler while the maid,s part was taken by Pat Cherry. Joan Lingen- felter took the role of the snooty Mrs. Hale. To add variety a group of girls put on a musi- cal taken from the Broadway hit. Oklahoma. Jackie Pierson and Abby Mayhew in a scene from Are Men Superior.
