Rosemary Whiting was a friendly member of the class. She was a member of the Senior Girl Reserves, and the Hiker's. A little man with a big smile, Alfred Wilkins was a member of the band, and was especially interested in woodshop and machine shop. Friendly, sweet, and just plain nice to know, Ella Williams appeared in the Iunior Revue, and was a member of the Library Club, Latin Club, A.B., Senior Ushers, and both junior and Senior Honor Societies. just plain sweet - Betty Worpel was in the junior Revue, secretary of the senior class, and an usher for the senior play. Berry was a member of the Senior Girl Reserves, and the A.B. Vivian Wright was a member of the Library Club and junior and Senior Honor Societies. This charm- ing, petite miss also served on committees for the Junior Revue and senior play. Bob Yackels put both feet forward as Hunk in the senior play. Bob was active in Gloria, band, courtesy Squad, R.O.T.C., track Qmanagerj, and Science, Bars and Chevrons, and the C Clubs. Bob was also president of the Hi-Y. Deep voiced, curly-headed Eugene Yakes was in the one-act plays, senior play, Gloria, choir, and the Courtesy Squad. Euey was a member of the R.O.T.C. and Bars and Chevrons. Last, but certainly not least, in our parade of seniors of '44, we have joan Madges.
