Mia Dehopere, AFS sponsored foreign exchange student, quietly reflects some American literature. Mia finds life at CHS much less restricted than at her high school in Belgium. She makes her home with Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Caldwell. Mr. Kimmel accompanies Mary Jo Martin with his guitar at the Student Council's first Hoote-nanny. An enthused audience listened to the New Frontier Four, a folk group from Indianola. Foreign exchange student Rosa Llanos came to CHS from Santiago, Chile. Here Rosa sits in the home of her American family, Mr. and Mrs. Clare Boyd, beside her treasures from home. Previous student council members jim Hardman, Mike Smith, Don Herbert, and Doug Coen presented an entertaining skit to those who attended the annual icebreaker dance sponsored by the student council.
