, , pq,-,,,n:qq. .. M , ,nun-uur-,., W THE SUPERINTENDENT'S MESSAGE CECIL H. RA TCLIFF The importance ofa school annual cannot be measured by its value at the time it is published. Like so many of the finer things of this world it increases in value and as an esteemed possession with the passing years. As a part of your future this book will some day be a reminder of happy days and treasured friendships, of memories beyond the price of earthly possessions. So live that always when your friends again look upon your face in this book, in memory they will see you again as you are now, and may know that the vicissitudes of life have only served to strengthen the fine qualities of youth into an upright individual worthy of eternal life. THE PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE RIC HA RD G. LONGENEC KER In a rapidly advancing world such as ours, it behooves me to express my feelings in words to you--for you are standing on the threshold of many wonderful things to come. It is my sincere wish that your days in Crestline High School have been enjoyable ones and days that have been profitable in experiences which will enable you to find your niche to advance with our civilization in prosperity, happiness and culture.

BOARD OF EDUCATION Left to right: Mrs. Bernice Miller, Mrs. Glen D. Hoffman, Mrs. Vera Capell, Clarence Speelman, Robert L. Roberts, Howard King. Crestline is proud of its Board of Education. The members give freely of their time and effort without tangible recompense. They serve both community and school. Their decisions show wisdom, tolerance, and progressive thinking. We wish to thank them for helping, in great measure, to make and keep Crest- line district respected by educators, and loved by its students. 5 ,fi 2 'IU 1 ,. :i1,
