On this day, in Room 151, another historical event took place when Bill Lamb was elected presidentg Barbara Ryan, vice-president, .Toy Weis, treasurer, and Marilyn Eckstein, secretary. The advisors, Mr. Hackman and Mrs. Varga, helped plan the social activities for the year. September of 1950 began leaving just five more years until the end of school life. Under the advisorship of Mr. Hutson and Mr. Hackman, the class had an enjoyable year. This year's officers were elected with Barbara Ryan, president, Pat Puhr, vice-president, Marilyn Eckstein, treasurer, and Elaine DeGreve, secretary. In September, 1951, the election was held in the study hall with Mr. Hackman and Miss O'Leary as the new advisors. The officers were voted on and tallied, placing Louis Marino as president, Roy Lee Gallentine as treasurer, Joy Weis as vice-president, and Pat Puhr as secretary. At the beginning of September, 1952, the class of 55 began to realize that there were only three more years to go. Miss Griebling and Mr. Hackman were present to witness the election as Barbara Ryan became president, Jack Yerkey, vice-president, Gerald Nolder, treasurer: and Joy Weis, secretary. The main events of this year were the Annual Sophomore Hop and several sock hops. In their three years ahead, the Sophomores hope to make their good record an even better one. Z9
