ie anim In September of 1944 about seventy students started their journey through high school under the leadership of President Jeanne Rhodusg Vice-President Bill Bletzg Secretary Harry Artery and Treasurer Shirley Horton. We were no masterminds, but we did manage to get along at about average speed. In the starting of our Sophomore year, which in- cidently was l945, we trudged along under the guidance of our President Bette Kranerg our Vice-President John Garverickg our Secretary Robert Sandg and our Treasurer Donna Hart. Under their leadership we surmounted many obstacles. Our Junior year started out with a big bang with Paul Winemiller as our President, John Garverick as our Vice-Presidentg Ruth Simmermacher as our Secretaryg and Shirley Horton as our Treasurer. This was the great year of our Junior-Senior Reception which caused much grief planning for it, but enjoyment putting it on. We finally got to the place where we were no longer green like the Froshies. We led the younger members of Crestline High. In our final year were occasions such as the class assemblies, Senior class play, the Junior Senior Reception, Bacculaureate, and the unforgettable Commencement. Under the guidance of our class advisors, Miss Cover and Mr. Dewalt, our class officers John Garverick, Presidentg Donald Stover, Vice-Presidentg Virginia Smith Secretaryg and Edward Garverick, Treasurer, led us over our last obstacle--The Senior Year. 13
