25, , A COACH Mr. L. L. Hill came to Crestline in 1940 as a science teacher. Due to the fact that Coach Hhtson was called to serve for Uncle Sam, Mr. H111 ac- cepted the position of Coach. Even though Mr. H111 has had very little experience in coaching basket- ball and football, he has done remark! ably well. We are very happy to have such a grand person in place of Coach Hutsonm ' ASSISTANT COACH Assistant Coach Donaldson, more affectionately known as nTeach,n came to Crestline in 1957. Not long after the start of football' he volunteered to coach the Junior High boys the fundamentals of the game and prepare them for when they become eligible for the varsity. When basket ball season came around he took over the job of ' coaching the reserves and has achieved an enviable record in names won and lost for the reserves.

THE HOMECOMING It has been the cus-tom of' the football team to choose a queen for the homecoming game. This year the honor of being chosenqueen was given to' Dorts Maddyg Margery and,Mary Poffenbaugh were chosen to serve as her attendants. t At the half, Miss Wagenhals, the queen of the preceding year, intro- duced the queen and her attendants. John Walker, the honorary captain of the team, presented Miss Maddy and the Misses Mary and Margery Poffenbaugh with bouquets of mums, in behalf' of the team. Q
