One of the biggest money making projects for the Freshmen was their coat check. They did a fine job and we congratulate them. After a few months in their new surroundings, they quickly adapted to the life of a high school student. Their shyness turned to confidence during the year and they began to feel as if they were a part of the school. We wish them the best of luck in the future and hope that they will be one of the outstanding classes to graduate from Crestland. 20 if iii 232 , ,f . .. .,.... .. , .M .4-.ff:-,'s4L1,..:FW'izkffiyfsfinifyi'wily' ,N fy 11?-f I xx' as ' um?b 2 fi! NATIONAL HQ? SSC? X l E M f- The National Honor Society, Crest Chapter of the Crestland Community School, initiated its first 13 members at an impressive candlelight ceremony, Tuesday morning, February 16, in the darkened gymnasium at Crestland. The Sac City Community School officers were in charge of the installation. Mrs. Ehrhardt, the faculty advisor from Sac gave the history of the Society. The officers then told what each qualification meant. There are four qualifications needed to become a member. They are Scholarship, Leadership, Character, and Service. These were met by all of the initiates. No one knows of his honor until the opening of the sealed envelopes, which was pre sented to the officers from Sac by Mr. Hall. We think this is a very important addition to our school and are greatful that this will be continued by our school in the years to come. There have been many changes in our school system. There was almost a complete change in faculty and this year the junior High joined in participating as a part of the high school. These have been good changes for our school and the spirit of the school has been steadily increasing. There was support for all our sports, musical contests, and other social ac- tivities. One of the most important changes for the student council, the stu- dents' representatives, was the making of a constitution. We, the students of Crestland, feel that this school is one of the best and that our faculty and the pupils in it, make it a fine school to attend. The seniors would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for all the help they received during their last four years in high school. We sincerely hope that the school will continue to keep its fine name and that we can always be proud that we graduated from Cre stland. JOHN LENZ--MOORMAN REPRESENTATIVE MRS. JAMES B.
