EARLY SERVICE STATION DIERENFIELD OIL COMPANY Early, Igwa Early and SRC LE CLUB FRANCAIS ROW 1: Mary Wadsley, Linda Jensen, Sandy Smith, Julie Ward, Jane Paulson, Pres., Gayle Witte, Sher- rie Schramm, Mary Kiefer. ROW 2: Carole Olson, Darlene Fanning, Susan Stough, Julie Mason, Sharon Lenz, Jean Combes, Mrs. Brewer. The French Club was formed to stimulate an interest in French foods, history, and culture. In order to belong to the club, one must have studied French for one semester. The theme for the meetings of the first semester of the 1963-64 school year was French Provinces. In this we study the provinces of Alsace-Lorraine, Normandy, Ile-de-France, and Provence. For the second semester we will study points of interest in Paris such as the Louvre, the Notre Dame cathedrale, and others. The meetings are held in the homes of the individual membezs. These meetings are conducted in the French language. The recreation and refreshments are in the French style. The officers are as follows: President--Jane Paulson Vice President--Jean Combes Secretary-Treasurer--Gayle Witte Reporter--Sharon Lenz In the club everyone acquires an interest in French and has fun also.
