FARMER'S GRAIN CO. SCHALLER STATE BANK Schaller, Iowa Schaller, Iowa LIBRARY STAFF ROW 1: Corrine Smith, Mrs. Steig, Suzanne Wessendorf. ROW 2: Mary Ann Tobin, Colleen Domino, Jane Paulson, Nancy Mason, Julie Ward, Susan Jeckell, Sandra Schramm, Judy Smith. .fu ' ,QI-V. -- LIBRARY STAFF The student usually sees, sitting behind the main library desk, one of our ten librarians. Standing beside her are pride and dignity. Also at her side is Mrs. Steig, her library advisor. She gives advice based on her years of experience. That experience has built a modern and efficient library. The bulk of the 2000 volumes were bought in recent years. Every year, through the assistance of Mr. Ackerman and Mrs. Steig, this school expands its volume of up-to-date books in all fields. The efficiency of the librarians was advanced in the fall by a series of lessons given by Suzanne Wessendorf and Mrs. Steig. We feel now that the librarians are better qualified to serve the students. It has been a good year for all connected with the library. We hope it has been for the students, too. 52
