Y , gbfzincipafs igylessage Telling you, my dear graduates, that the year 1937 is destined to be one of the most important years of your life is simply reminding you of something you already know full well. Indeed, not only is 1937 destined to be one of the most important years in your life-it will mark one of the Outstanding landmarks of your career. The year of graduation is the year from which you will date your achievements in whatever work you undertake. Your school and your teachers have named you their candidates for worthy, useful citizenship. You have been trained to recognize the true meaning and value of citizenship, and you have been taught to aspire toward the highest ideals and to strive for worthwhile achievement. Surely, you will carry your teachings with you! Be sincere! Sincerity is the basis of confidence, and as the success you will achieve will be measured, to a large extent, by the degree of confidence you inspire in others, the practical value and importance of being sincere in all your dealings and relationships, can scarcely be ove1'- estimated. The sincere man or woman is ever regarded with respect. You hold the power to accomplish and to achieve the things for which your ambition is aimed. The outcome lies with you.
