The Merry Widow was presented on February ll and l2 under the direction of Miss Zoe Ross, assisted by Mr. Iarnes Bittner. A double cast was used this year for the first time. After the performances at the high school, the cast took the operetta to the Cresson Sanatoriurn. Later, the singing groups entertained at the Veterans Hospital in Altoona. Sixty Seven

BILL IUDD The play was presented on December 17 and 18. The plot centers around the mother of an eighteen year old girl Who is a freshman in college. The mother, in order to keep her daughter there, took the Abigail Fortitude Scholarship. To make matters Worse, the pro- fessor falls in love with her. Love, intrigue, and many mix-ups of all kinds made this play a smart hit. Sixty Eight
