The successful activities ot the Freshman Class this year show that We are off to a good start and will be an outstanding class. We may have been green in September but We have learned a lot since the opening days of school. We enjoyed the sophomore initiation party and had fun wearing our clothes back- wards and feasting on hot dogs and pop. Other fun makers were the Turkey Trot on November l5 and the Christmas dance held on December 30. Late in the spring we skated in the Penn Pavilion in a money mak- ing evening of thrills and spills. Mr. Leon Hue's reporting section won a box of candy for having lUU !o dues payment. Iohn Parrish was quite a collector! We tried our hand at school activities. Ross Eberhart and Ierry Sharpe Were on the Wrestling team. Sixteen boys went out for football and twelve were on the junior high bas- ketball squad. In the marching band could be seen Ioan Schwaderer, Francis Carruthers, Iames Harris, and Richard Kurash. We feel fortunate to have such an enthusiastic adviser as Miss Catherine Iapalucci.
