' Aff! September 19, 1958, was the day of much excitment, as Homecoming finally arrived. The festiv- ities began with the presentation of Queen Phyl and her attendants Malinda and Connie at the pep assembly. Following the assembly was the parade where the freshmen took first place with their skunk. The next event to take place on that day was the preliminary bonfire and the football game with Osage. The spirit wasn't dampened by the loss of the game as the students went on to the last event of the day. The lovely queens danced to the music of Vance Dixon and a wonderful time was had by all.
