THE HOWLING HUNDRED organization consists of four officers nominated by the faculty and elected by a vote of the student body, Their advisor is Mr. A. A. Schwieger, high school principal. The president of this organization fthis year John Daly, presides at CHS assemblies. Another respons- ibility of this organization is that of seeing that workers are stationed at the gates of various CHS athletic events. They also plan and organize pep and special assemblies, and direct Homecoming activities.

The Dogpatch edition of the Spartan was edited and published by a staff of seniors and juniors. Spartan editor for 1952 was Gladys Walter, and her staff of associates: the business and advertising chairman, Connie Daily and Henry Elwood, respectively, the sales managers, Virginia Mintey and Jean Duntg feature chairman, Cheryl Bents, art chairman, Roger Larson, sports chairman, Galen Pecham, photography, Earl Lindanger. It takes a lot of work to publish a yearbook but there is also a lot of fun and enjoyment and a grand and glorious feeling when the job is well done. Mr. Charles E. Mick is the advisor.
