Lack of experience and material were two of the factors that Mr. Wernimont and Mr. Flanagan had to contend with throughout the football season. Mr. Werni- mont was helped much by the return of seven letter men and others who had had 21 little experience. The boys are to be complimented on their show of spirit and fight even though they were the conference underdogs. They played some very close and cxciting games. With Deane as captain, the team put up a game fight all the way, in spite of injury, and won one out of their seven games.
