I remember what it was like to be new here. The school seemed a little bigger then, though I never admitted, it was a lot scarier. I remember searching hallways filled with unfamiliar faces. I kept hoping to find someone to share my confusion with. I always had a great feeling when someone smiled. I wondered how I was going to fit into this huge super so' histicated cam- pus. Now I wonder why I was worried. The confidence came, and so did the learning and fun. I loved the teachers. What I remember most of all are the good friends I made here. There were times when we won together and lost together. Times when we worried, and times when we celebrated together. How do you ever say thank you for all the beautiful memories? I remember autumn when all the excitement in the world flashed between two goal posts. The winters warm with the glow of our holiday spirit. Springtimes that dazzled us with the poems of freedom, and long summer vacations. Not doing anything was our favorite group activity. Looking back, I'm amazed that so many and crazy colorful things filled my life at Crescent Junior High School.
