How- ever, each successlve year showed an Improved record, untll the season lust ended, whlch showed the team, coached by Bobby G. Wllllams, exceeding the SOO mark for the flrst tlme. The football team coached by Ben O. Tyson and Harry Prlce came through wlth one of the best seasons ln recent years. By fine team play, splrlt, and hustle rather than by specta- cular lndlvldual olay, the Tlgers were able to attaln thls flne record. Especlally, was their record noteworthy, slnce It was generally thought that thls would be a season of re- bulldlng due to the loss by graduatlon ot so many key players of the prevlous year.
