Well, Gary, it seems good to see an old classmate, was his enthusiastic greeting. Your contribution to forestry makes me proud to call you my freind. How are your wife and all the little McGarvies? After an exchange of pleasantries Duncan started his travelogue which included many visits to former classmates as well as scenes of his varied tours His own lovely wife is a noted English movie star and he was especially proud of the artistry displayed in her picutres His scenes of Japan were fascinating and he had some excellent shots of a professional basketball team coached by our old friend John 'Hooks' McFall In his Journey through the South Pacific he encountered Don Daman our old classmate happy and trim in his off1cer's uniform aboard a navy transport He told of the wonderful achievements of Gail Sams in her work among the natives there and showed most interesting plct ures of the chapel her home and family as well as attractive pictures of our beloved friend In San Francisco he was fortunate enough to meet Rose Tieche who was working in Traveler'S Aid Bureau and very happy in helping the less fortunate persons who came to the bureau The color picutres were most fascinating and her desk an interesting island in the busy station Dr Duncan told me he was startled to see my brother Mike as one of the crowd the picture Mike was delighted to renew old acquaintances at present he is producing and acting in his own motion picture company In spite of all his success he is the same old Mike by now a happy family man and a proud father of six sons The leisurely trip across the continent was beatuifully photographed and in returning to New York he met the former Donna Hunter during a television appearance Donna 1S most successful as a set designer in hth studio and has combined a happy home life with a career Dr Duncan was delighted to add her pictured activities to complete his history of our class of 1954 Our carefree school days are over but the glow of old friendship still remains if 1 -1 9 F X v lvl fum !111,hl'l A2 l and I-377' 2 -1.
