She was this year's devoted sponsor of the senior class. She received her B.A, and M.A. Degrees at the Uni- versity of Florida. There is no final way to assess the worth of a teacher except in terms of those she has taught. With deep appreciation we dedicate the 1967 Cres- cent to Mrs. Bessie W. Richardson. In order to gain more school spirit we organized a Pep Club, To help the appearance of the school, the Council poured the cement for the benches in front of the school with the help of the F,F,A, The Coun- cil will compile a handbook for next year. This year, we conducted a survey using student police to see how a student court would work. Many thanks to Ginger Norquist, our president and Mrs. Long our sponsor. l OFFICERS: Lora West, pres,p Deckie Hilton, vice-pres.i Janet Gau- tier, sec. Q Georgeanna Wendell, treas.: Joan Schwantes, historian: Phillis Mohr, publicity chairman. Many attempts have been made at C. C. H. S. to form a Pep Club. This year due to a school- spirited student body, we were successful. Early in the year, we drafted a constitution and a set of rules for the club. Mrs. Long, guidance counselor, became sponsor, and Mrs. Shepard, as- sistant principal, was co-sponsor. We feel that our most outstanding accomplishments have been the following: fly promoting school spirit, Q23 reflecting pride in our school to the general public. C33 advertising games and other school activities. f4J promoting good sportsmanship, 153 supporting any projects that promote spirit. We have great hopes for the future of the club, Club OFFICERS President - Jon Karl Knapp Vioe-Pres. - Gael Pigue Secretary - Kay Asbury Treasurer - Carol Tennant Reporter - Debra Shaw Stage Crew - Left to Right - M. THE ROAD NOT TAKEN Two roads diverged in a yellow wood, And sorry I could not travel both And be one traveler, long I stood And looked down one as far as I could To where it bent in the undergrowth: Then took the other, as just as fair, And having perhaps the better claim, Because it was grassy and wanted wear Though as for that the passing there Had worn them really about the same, And both that morning equally lay In leaves no step had trodden black, Oh, I kept the first for another day! Yet knowing how way leads on to way, I doubted if I should ever come back, I shall be telling this with a sigh Somewhere ages and ages hence: Two roads diverged in a wood, and I - I took the one less traveled by, And that has made all the difference. - Robert Frost - T-4 zzffcfff' M P5- , MFE? fi it Fi Sk CXJJJJ MOMXEWQ Fi ffQMk WOTE Qggbkd - xg Egg 'Zhi C 'F 9 exft?
