, row- ounfry: .14 pebuifcling year This year was one of rebuilding for the Cougar varsity and junior varsity Cross Country teams. The varsity squad was led by Howard Gardner, Flanoy Garrett and Renwick Wright, with backup supplied by Douglas Long, Arthur Williams and Kelvin Bragg. Junior varsity had Derrick Creecy leading the way, with Jerome Torrence, Reynaldo Husband, Michael Farmer and Aaron Simpson rounding out the five-man team. Next year may be very exciting, considering the return of all but four competitors and additional strength coming up from a promising tenth-grade team.
