Under the coaching of Mr. Luther Hayes and Mr. Robert Sugino we broke into the Western League with power. Led by the defensive play of Michael Ball and George Edwards, and the offense of Tony Jackson and All- League half-back Clifton Mayberry, the Bee Cougars pounded out a record of 3-5, great for a first-year team. Next year Crenshaw looks to be the power of the Western League. 73
