New Tennies, Big Smiles and Endless Luggage An eager face peering around armloads of luggage and books — Freshman Week has begun. The first task is a pleasant one; meet all the new stu- dents. Method? Go to the Student Center, wearing a smile. Orientation sets forth all the do ' s and don ' t ' s; and pre-registration programs the courses for a semester. The Frosh Picnic adds to the get-acquainted spirit, with fun and food. To end the first week of college, the Student Board of Governors sponsors the Freshman Mixer. IT ' S MOVING DAY at Dowling Hall, as Freshmen fellows prepare the mass migration from car trunk to dormitory room. FRESHMEN GIRLS meet two student leaders, Judykay Raymer and Ann Bergschnelder, who outline the campus activities. COED ' DO ' S AND DON ' T ' S are outlined by Mrs. Hamilton, Dean of Women, for new students at orientation meeting. 12
