1-at The Creighton Yearbook staff put long hours and energy into assembling the H1987 PRIDE as a memory of 'Only the Finest' Creighton eighth grade year. The staff, headed by co-editors, Janelle Spangler and jennifer Podulka, planned the theme, cover and general idea of the book. Sixteen staff members proceeded to put together eighty specifically de- signed pages with layout plans, copy, photographs, art work and captions. In between pizza parties, we learned about organizing ourselves, coordinating efforts, compromising and getting the job done well, Janelle Spangler, co-edi- IOI. I 'Q I, . , J ifer Podulka and , co-editors of the '87 CMS yearbook The Prideu, work on scheduling layout and copy jobs with the staff. Andrea Bailey, layout editor, designs a layout sheet to meet january deadline. Robert Wallace chooses pho- tographs for the Sth grade soc- cer sports page. Will he figure out I was the one to send that song dedication in? I'll die when she reads it. This year's Creighton Chronicle staff did a 'fine' job. When those newspapers rolled off the press they were well re- ceived by the students. The staff editors, Shane Newton and Michelle McCarron were assisted by co-editor, Kim West- cott. Mr. Mike French was the advisor. There were frustrations and problems but the staff members worked each one out. Here sits work- ing on an article. Sundaye Sweeney and Mike ,Bishop work together.
