Band The Finest Honor Band at Creighton Middle School was invited to attend the festlve Halloween Pumkin Parade sponsored by Dan McGinnis The Pumpkin Man local real estate agent and community leader lt was a big success During the year the Honor Band performed many concerts. Mr. jeff Kelly was the director of the band. The kids responded when interviewed about band: He's really a great conductor. He's lots of fun, and I love to watch him jump off the risers. Cara Miller related about Mr. Kelly, Mr, Kelly makes good choices on the music. lt's really fun to play with the band, said Geneva Bumb. . , r. In addition to all the fine concerts the Creighton Honor Band performed they also attended many other educational perfor- mances. On February 23rd the Creighton Honor Band attended the Phoe- nix Symphony. They played music from the different eriods in musical history. My favorite piece was the theme rom 2001 Space Odyssey Antonio Hernandez commented. The band also played as a pep band for the Creighton Faculty vs. Channel 10 news team CKTSPJ basketball game at Camelback High School Gymnasium. The score was 41 to 32, Channel 10 news team's favor. The teachers lost the game, but the band was undefeated. Teri Miller tleftj and Eric Gentry fright, play their instruments. Here comes the Pumpkin Parade!
