O GCDQOOOQOOOC' 'uv Ron Lee, Outstandin Boy Scout, Earns Eagle Award! Above: Ron Lee, Creighton Middle School eighth grader, playing the French horn in the school's Honor Band. Left: Ron Lee in his Scout attire. Ron Lee I am a member and Senior Patrol Leader of Boy Scout Troop 345. In April 1987, when I will turn 14 years old, I will join the Varsity Scout program. I will also be awarded my Eagle in April 1987. I am completing my Eagle project which involves: building learning and play equipment - a playhouse for emotionally disturbed children in south Phoenix. I started scouting as a Cub Scout at 8 years of age. I became a Boy Scout when I was 11 years old. Today, I am a Life Scout. I have enjoyed the challenge and sense of accomplish- ment I've experienced as a member of an active Scout group. In july 1986, I was voted the out- standing scout. I had earned 14 merit badges and my life rank ad- vancement. I received a ribbon and a medal for my efforts. I was tapped out for the Order of the Arrow at Geronimo Scout Camp in 1986. I worked a day with- out talking and without much food. That night I feasted as I was given a sash with an arrow on it. February 1987 by Ron Lee
