Sensor Class History As we th1nk of ourselves as Sen1ors now let us COUS1dGT ourselves 1D retrospect, to our Freshman year That year we were s1x 1D number We elected the fo1low1ng off1cers for that year PPeS1d9Dt B111 Sw1nehart V1ce Pres1dent Lonn1e Rogers Secretary Q Treasurer Dorothy McClu1e We were 1n1t1ated by the three SGDIOTS f 53 and we are very glad we don t have to go through that state of serv1tude aga1n In September of the fO11OW1Ug year we entered as Sophomores Our off1ce1s we1e as follows PF9S1dODt Lonnle Rogers V1ce Pres1dent KFIS Dav1s Secretary H Treasurer Dorothy McClure Our sponsor was Mr Mayf1eld To help our money b1tUat1OH we began hav1ng p1cture shows 1D the school garage Th1s year we lost Donna Ragland and ga1ned Barbara Robb1ns Mary Bates and Raymond Franks We were very happy to have such an 1nc1ease 1D the number of our class Th1s year proved to be a very good one for the basketball team, Wh1Ch went to State as representat1ves of th1s part of Colorado lwo of the Sophomore boys, B111 Sw1neha1t and Lonnle Rogers, played on the team When we returned for our Jun1or yea1 we lost four classmates Mary Lou Sk1nner, Barbara Robb1ns Ma1y Bates and Raymond Franks We ga1ned Pres1dent Kr1s Dav1s V1ce Presldent Barbara M1l1er Secretary 8 Trea surer Dorothy McClure Our sponsor was Mr H111 Dur1ng our Jun1or year we were busy most of the t1me To ra1se money we had a b1D5O party wh1ch proved to be a great success Wh1le on the subgect of b1ngo, would l1ke to thank all of those who helped us Th1s year t augment our class funds for the Jun1or Sen1or Prom and Banquet, we got half of the concess1on stands at the basketball games We had another good yea1 1D basketball We went to State and came back w1th the trophy of second place The last act1v1ty of our Jun1or year was the prom and banquet for the Sen1or Class The school chose Lonnle Rogers as K1ng and Dorothy McClure as Queen We m1ght say that we had a busy year but we all en Joyed lt Now that we turn back the pages of h1story, we don t remember the work so much as we do the fun we had 1n do1ng t Th1s year 1S the last of our h1gh school days, and lt lb the happ1est 1n a way, and then very sad 1D another way We are seven 1D number th1S year Mary Lou Sklnner returned to graduate w1th us We have half of the CODCGSSIOD stands aga1n th1S year We also h d lunches at the beg1nn1ng of the year W have the school annual, wh1ch 1S an 1mportant project 1n the schedule of the Sen1or Class At th1S t1me wc are 100klHg forward to our tr1p to Old Mex1co, the Jun1or Sen1or Prom and Banquet, and f1nally Graduat1on Day l I -4 ' , w ' , .
