Y 72 W 2 C153 L I We, the Senior Class of 1961, being of sound mind and body, do hereby declare this our last will and testament. To the Faculty, we leave our apologies for giving them so many gray hairs in the past four years. To the incoming Seniors, we will our ability to make money. We, the Senior Girls, will our ability to overrule the boys in all class meetings to the Senior Girls of '62, We, the Senior Boys, will our inferiority complex to the Senior Boys of '62. Individually, we leave the following: Dorine Allen, will my happy days at C, H. S. to my BROTHER, Sammy Alligood, will my ability to work algebra to Britt Posey, who couldn'ttake it for two days Linda Braxton, will all my good times to Nancy Strickland and Nell Langsdale who are doing okay on their own, and my bottle of peroxide to Beverly Tully. Kay Cogdill, will my diary of memories to the ungraduates of Crawfordville in hopes that they too will have a happy and beneficial journey. Judy Council, will my place in the Senior Class to Betty Io Tillman since this is the way she'll get there. Sue Council, leave C. H.S. for GOOD! . . . lhopel Gail Crum, being of very small stature, will my ability to make trouble but always stay out of it to Janie Glover and my American History grades to Ralph Braren . . . poor soul. Johnny Daniel, will my English grades to anyone who will have them. Elise Ferrell, will my ability to see no evil, SPEAK no evil, and hear no evil to Adrian Lewis. Ina Forbes, will my fond memories and the friends I made to Ann Moore for her remaining four years. Mary Forbes, will my driving ability to the next year's driving class. Martha Greene, will all my fond memories of Crawfordville l-ligh to all of my friends left there. Other Green, will my ability to make good in conduct to Eugene Cutchins. Nellie Gillislpie, will my ability to catch and hold a man to Lavern Wilson. Sara Harrell, will my ability to have a slim figure to the cubbies of C.H. S. Lucy Harrington, will my ability to speak first and think later to Janet Russ who seems to be doing quite well. Peggy Harvey, will my ability to have fun anytime, anywhere, to the Seniors of '62. Lamar Lewis, being of decapicated body and demented mind will my motto, Years may come and years may go, but Algebra and Trlg I'll never know, to Sir Britt Posey who knows even less Tommy llovett, will my ability to have old age pension to Harold Phillips. Ellen McCallister, will my ability to hold my tongue but let my mind wanderto Lucy Strickland. Sally Oaks, will my ability to see the most, hear the most, talk the most, but understand the least to anyone who desires it. Ralph Oliver, having full control of my mind fl thinky, do on this day of I DON'T KNOW, will my bad grades, my idle brain, and my place on the bench next to coach during the ball games --sucker. Etta Io Pelt, will my ability to vary in artistic ability to an on-coming Senior who seems to be stuck on one subject--horses. Ettie Ruth Porter, leave my foxy ways of skipping school to Yvonne Smith. Margaret Roberts, will my ability to get to Bookkeeping on time to Tippy Mathers and Linda Owens who are always late. Iohn Dayton Spears, will my straight hair to Coach Mathis. Houston Taff, will my ability to hold my temper and not cuss when a game warden catches me to Mr. Harold Phillips. Annie Ruth Tumer will my BIG mouth at the ballgame to some deserving. Elnita Welch, will my quiet ways to Mr. Don MacRostle and my days of fun at Crawfordvllle to Nellie Langsdale. Bobby Wright, will my ability to dance, even though not to the music, to Charles Turner, who is always sitting. Also I will my little brother to Mrs. Miller and may the Lord be with her.
