.YA .L A... T PM As we open the Book of Time, and turn to the year 1961, we are wondering what we will find the Seniors of '51 of Crawfordville High doing. I On the first page, we find Lois Forbes, that star basketball player and shorthand student of 10 years ago. She is cooking dinner for her loving husband, Earnest Council, and trying to keep her-four children quiet. Turning the page over, we see that quiet and studious girl, Earline Strickland, pounding away on her typewriter in the office of the new and handsome governor, Kit Tucker. Earline hasn't lost her popularity with Eddie Ward, though She writes him every day while he is overseas with the Navy. Can we believe our eyes? That bashful Agnes Harvey is now a secretary in a large office in New York. She isn't married yet, but she has a lot of admirers of the opposite sex. . Clyde Merritt, the guy who was always a lady's man, is currently thrilling them with his beautiful bass voice on radio station W O E. His school-days sidekick, Jimmy Strickland, has finally settled down with just one girl, and is busy earning a living for his family of three. He is director of the new movie, Time Changes Everything . That cute Eula Strickland finally hooked Amos Green, and they are now living in Tallahassee. The home ec. she learned in school is coming in handy now. Virginia Spears is now a world-famous artist, and several of her paintings are in the art museum in New York. We always knew she had talent. Hugh Chapman has now taken Bob Hope's place in radio. He and Evelyn Spears are now married, she writes the jokes while he makes a fortune telling them. After finishing school, Bobby Posey and Gary Council started farming, and now have a thriving business. Bobby and Anita Shields are getting married after harvest time. Benita Linton and June Lawhon, after attending Holmes Bible College, are now in an imexplored region in Africa, preaching to the natives.. Marilyn Parrish, that well-known pianist, is now making tours around the U. S. , and is really up in the cool millions. Betty Jo Oaks, after graduating from F. S, U. , is now teaching elementary school in Orlando, as she dreams of taking a world tour. Iris Gray, who is really a slim beauty now, is the efficient manager of Mc Crory's in Tallahassee. Bonnie Linton Council is busily engaged in dressing those twins alike and various other household tasks. V Elna Ward really did marry Tommy Joe High, and they are now living in Miami. She models clothes for a big agency there in her spare time. Ellen Allen, who is now a registered nurse in Tallahassee Memorial Hospital, is very happy in her work. Just think, the other day she assisted in removing the tonsils of one of Governor Tucker's Children! '
