IORS The Senior Home Room was bursting at the seams with the largest Senior class in the history of Crawfordsville High School. I6-1 Seniors not only filled the traditional Home Room 203, but expanded into Room 200 which was easily stocked with the A's, B's, and C's of the class of '55. Mr. Hoke and Mr. Crecelius continued their task as Senior Class home room advisors, while Mr. Wells became an advisor for the first time. Since the first bell of the morning was moved up to 7:55 and the tardy bell didn't ring until S: 15, the traditional senior hall more than ever became the location of mass gatherings and slow-moving conges- tion. Class meetings during home room period became a frequent occurrence too. The officers of the class of 1955, elected early in the fall, were: jack Walker, presi- dent, Joe Allen, vice-president, Marilyn Todd, secretary, and Dick Dulin, treasurer. Another elected body of the senior class was the advisory board which served as the legislative group. lts members, elected by the class early in the school year, were: Marilyn Todd, Jack Walker, joe Allen, Susie Cunningham, Carolyn Hudson, Betsey Harvey, Rochelle Roche, Jerry Walker, john Horner, Dick Dulin, jim Showalter, Bill Balch, Jonell Otterman, Ed Scaggs. Prob- lems which were not significant enough to be discussed by the entire class and yet were important, were usually solved by the ad- visory board.
