They have many secretarial duties to perform for the city schools ad- ministration. By the same measure, Miss Patricia Run- yon Cleftb, and Miss Dorthea Knight frightb, take care of the similar responsi- bilities for the principals office. They assist Mr. McCullough and Mr. Darst in the sign- ing of blue slips, keeping files, and the many other small but necessary jobs that help Crawfordsville High School run smoothly. School Board The Board of Education is a body of civic minded citizens of Crawfordsville who are elected to serve the school city by the city council. Mathematics Department The schools mathematics department fol- lows the student through most of his school- ing in CHS. Starting with the more ele- mentary courses of arithmetic in the seventh and eighth grades, the student expands to algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and the other more advanced math courses.
