This efficient office stall is responsible for keeping in order all our records over a six-year period. A continuous stream of papers, cards, folders, letters, and other records are quickly and quietly handled daily by our registrar and clerk. Countless blue slips are checked and sent to teachers all over the building, announcements and bulletins flow from their typewriters, While innumerable queries are answered as part of the daily routine of keeping the school on an even keel. THE PRINCIPALS Mr. Louis Darst has finished his third year at Crawfordsville High School with the same boundless energy that has characterized his entire performance here. Although among the busiest of men, he still finds time to listen to the woes of everyone and lend a helping hand. As if directing the activities of the Iunior High School were not enough, Mr. H. T. McCullough is also Director of Athletics. Yet he handles both assignments in a relaxed manner that is both pleasing and reassuring. When season ticket time rolls around, Mr. McCullough can be found assisting Mr. Reed with the sales and distribution. With ifgcmizvztions All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy, and Jill, too. jack and Jill at Crawfordsville need never worry about dullness if they took advantage of some of the many organizations, clubs and activities that make up a vital part of the modern school at C.H.S. Besides the many and varied courses of study that the student of 1952 could choose from, there was a wealth of extra-curricular activities for every type of interest. Whether a bookworm or a basketball fiend, every member of the student body found his or her niche in some organization. In doing so, the student of 1952 learned to apply the democratic principles learned in the classroom, adjusted himself to the society of others, and, had a lot of fun doing it.
