Twice a month the pep squad would have a very spirited rally. The squad along with Susie Sides, Commissioner of Rallies and Assemblies, would figure out what the rallies were to be about. At the beginning of the year there was a rally for Homecoming and one for Hal- loween. And throughout the year there were rallies honoring different sports, dress-up days and times of the year. The crowds seemed full of enthusiasm as they watched the Cheerleaders, Son- gleaders and Mascots do their routines. And when it came time for spirit sticks and skits, the crowd would become very involved. These rallies helped add fun and spirit to the school year. ¥ pihag 1.
